We need to move all employees in one country to a new legal employer, without changing the hire date. Previously, we had multiple legal entities that have been recently merged into one.
I know that "Global transfer" creates a new work relationship having a new hire date, which isn't what we want. Is there any workarond that can be used?
For instance, would it be possible to rename the existing legal entities to all have the same name (plus a code to distinguish them)? At the same time, we might create a mass assignment change for the affected employees with an action code like "Change of legal entity". Do you see any problem with this solution?
