is there a way to update user entity

Summary:

We are not able to pull few employees those Payroll assignment and relationship dates are ended before extract run date so we are not getting data for terminated employees.

The existing criteria is on the integration so is there a way to follow/Update that criteria even if their payroll assignment and relationship dates are ended?
