CurrentPOV usage in Reports does not allow a user to see/change it

Summary:

We're migrating our Financial Reporting Studio reports to Reports. A lot of our legacy reports use the Current POV, and they migrate over to Reports that way. But if I run the report in Reports, it doesn't pop up with a prompt that lets me see or change what's in my Current POV. FR does do that. My user setting is set to Preview the Current POV. What am I missing?
