Lateness calculation in time and labor

My work shift from 8 am to 4 pm and I have reported hours from 8:45 am to 4 pm now it will calculate 7:15 Working hours and 45 mins lateness hours, how to derive this lateness hours in time calculation formula. If anyone has the sample formula, can you please post here? or give me some idea, will build a formula.
