Is it possible to search lot records within Manage Lots by Additional Information field?

We would like to be able to search lot records in the Manage Lots screen by a field set up in Additional Information.

We would like to standardize our lot generation logic across all items to an Oracle standard, but in order to do so, need to capture some data in a field setup in Additional Information and populated at work order execution. This information is visible to end customers on the physical product and will be referenced when customers call Customer Support to uniquely identify a batch; it is made up of logic we do not want to replicate when generating our lot numbers. In the interest of time, we would also like to avoid forcing the CSR to have to run
