How to generate a unique key with HSDL?

Hi all,

in many cases when I use HSDL is necessary to supply a unique ID for my loading. For exemple when I load a goal in the library is necessary to supply a unique external ID (a 15-digit number). Is it possible to generate this number automatically in a unique way? I would like to set by default a number that is always different for each upload.
