Summary:

What is the solution for data residency requirement of multiple countries in a global instance environment?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

More and more countries are coming up with data residency requirements e.g. Canada, China, India, Saudi etc. In a global instance environment, what is the solution to conform to these legal requirements. We all understand that the entire database resides in one of the data centers located in one country/region. We also understand that Oracle does not segregate and keep data in different databases based on which country the data belongs to. Does it mean that we are moving away from a single global instance strategy and forego the benefits that come with it?

Howdy, Stranger!
