Delivery Receipt Report Number Assigned Per Business Unit

Summary:

Is there a way now to assign a delivery receipt number per legal entity?

We have this government requirement where the Delivery Receipt (DR) Report should have its own document sequence/series per company.

Our client has two business units where they will be using the delivery report.

Sample:

BU 1: 100000000001

BU 2: 200000000001

In our custom DR, we have assigned the Oracle Shipping Number as the Delivery Report number.

We would like to know if Oracle has an update on this. As per our last inquiry about this, the Oracle shipping number is a global setup.

Can anyone confirm if this is still a global setup? or has Oracle already enhanced the Oracle shipping number?
