How to default returned value for user defined project standard cost collection attr in requisitions

Summary:

We created a user defined attribute in the project cost collection flexfield referring a project header attribute.

Though the value is coming from this DFF in the requisition distributions, the value not defaulted for user defined project standard cost collection attribute in requisitions. The user had to manually choose the value. For a similar field called Expenditure organization, the value is coming defaulted.

We expected the value to default as it is the only value returned from the DFF. Can someone provide some insight on how to default the returned value. FYI, we already tried keeping the SQL query in the Default Type section, but it is not working.
