Can Accounting Hub Supports import Tax information
Summary:
As part of the ongoing transformation project, implementing Accounting Hub Cloud to get the source(trading) system transactions and importing into General ledger journals.
We do get tax Information like tax code, rate, classification code etc along with these transactions data from source system. Ideally these are tax lines(either a debit line or credit line based on the nature of the transaction).
Business would like to import these tax line information into general ledger standard tax tables through accounting hub cloud so that these journal lines will be picked up by the standard tax reports.
I am comparing this requirement with “Create Taxable Transactions in Spreadsheet” standard functionality where you can import taxable transactions from third party system and report the journals in general ledger through Standard tax reports. This comparison is only for an example, but would like to know -- Is it possible to import tax information through accounting hub cloud and then to General Ledger standard tax tables ?
