Can we validate the Inventory Attribute fields in the Inbound Receiving and Outbound Picking?

Summary:

We are tracking the batch number in the Inventory attribute A field for a particular process, where we want the validations to happen in both inbound receiving and Outbound Picking process.

Example:

·       In ASN creation we are populating the Inventory Attribute A field with Batch Number from the external system.

·       For receiving we have enabled the screen parameters “capture-invn-attr-a”: Prompt for invn_attr_a.

·       While receiving the items the system will prompt for inventory attribute A.

·       The user will scan the Inventory Attribute A.

·       Here, we did a validation where if the user scans the wrong value in Inventory Attribute A the system should prompt an error or a Warning.
