Condtional formating not working for standard fields

Summary:

Adding a conditional formating criteria does not work on standard fields but works fine for flex fields

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I've tried creating a conditional format criteria for a number of fields in an OTBI analysis. Basically whenever the there is a NULL value, I've set the condition to highlight with a red background color.

The analysis contains a number of standard fields and flex fields. When the condition is applied to flexfields it works just fine but when added to standard fields the condition does not work, and every cell for the given column is given a red backgground color, whether the criteria is met or not.
