How to identify is employee is initiators reportee in BPM

Summary:

We have a requirement to where if an employee who is both LM and HR, if he initiates Termination for his own reportee then the approval should be different and if the initiator is raising for a non reportee then the approval should be different.

We are facing issue on how to identify if the employee is reportee of the initiator or not.
