Is it possible to update the standard cost before the date applied by Cost accounting?

As of December 17, there are items with Cost Accounting.

Is it possible to update the standard cost of the item based on December 1st?

( 'Standard cost' is applied )

Currently, when I register the Effeictvie date of cost scenario to update the standard cost of the item to December 1, an error message such as 'A published cost for this me ready artists and was processed in a transaction on 12/17/2023 (cst-2385624)' is displayed.
