Summary:

Requirement to segregate the access in Reports and Analytics such that user who can deploy the reports to PROD, user who can manage the reports (edit/delete) and a user who can perform the Administration tasks should all be different users.


Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

There is a requirement from client, where there is a SOX compliance issue in reports and analytics. Below are the ask:

  1. There should be a segregation at reports and analytics where a user who develops the reports in non-prod instances should not be able to deploy it (unarchive) it to PROD. Users who can edit the reports in custom folder in PROD should not be able to deploy the reports to PROD. If a user is able to do any one of these tasks should not be able to do configurational tasks. Is there a way to segregate this access.
