Merchandising and Suppressing Configuration Options

Summary:

We have a particular requirement to allow the order of configuration options menus to be defined by a business metric and potentially hide some configuration options unless a user explicitly reveals the options during configuration.

For example, by default we wish to display only options which can result in 2 day shipping to the customer. Should they require a different option, they can then turn off express shipping toggle and see the expanded options.

We initially investigated constraint rules, however we run into an issue when the customer toggles off express ship, makes an extended shipping time selection and switches back to express mode. The product configuration is valid, however the constraint rule throws an error suggesting the configuration is constrained.
