Copying select data from one scenario to another complicated by journals

Summary: I want to copy a subset of data from one scenario to another scenario. Using the Data Copy function, the problem I'm having is with the journals. If a journal has a mix of accounts with ones I want copied and ones I don't want copied, then the copy fails as the journal would be unbalanced. Ideally, I would like to just copy the total Data Source from the source scenario and load to a level zero data source in the target scenario. Any ideas?
