Not able to print columns in the rtf template

Hi,

I am trying to customize one of the seeded reports to add additional columns. I have added additional columns in the data model by creating a new group and established a link with one of the existing groups. I  am trying to print the same columns in the rtf template. But these columns are not getting printed as the newly added data group is not part of the parent group. I cannot establish a link in the data model as it's a major change and don't want to mess up the existing data model. so i am looking possibilities to pint in the rtf template
