How many instances of the 'Generate Invoice' standard ess job can run in Parallel

We are trying to schedule the 'Generate Invoice' standard ess job for our client and the volume expected is very high. We wanted to understand that at a time how many parallel instances of this job can run in Oracle and what volume can they handle. Also, if there are any issues that anyone knows that can happen if this scenario is possible.
