How to create an account contact by API?

Hi, I'm trying to create a contact and contact point using the REST API for contacts and attempting to link it with an account using AccountPartyId. To retrieve the account, I'm using the SOAP CustomerAccountService. I use the CustomerAccountId from the SOAP response to link it with AccountPartyId, but when I try to make a POST request, I encounter the following error message:

"The contact relationship couldn't be created because the referenced account is either invalid or doesn't have a sales profile. (HZ-120772)".
