Summary:

We have an initiative assigning a course to a group of learners every year. The course contains multiple offerings. Each offering has an activity. To make it easier for users ( less clicks ) we assigned the offerings to the users via an assignment this year. We were hoping they don't have to click on enroll and have less number of clicks and confusion. Any user that had completed the course prior year, got an auto completion ( last year's completion date ). We have activity sequencing enabled, but this seem to be a different use case that causes false completion.
