Summary:

Request to adjust timesheet approval and pick vertical lead (other flexfield) in stead of horizontal lead (supervisor hierarchy) of a person.

We transitioned to an Agile matrix organisation. Timesheet approvers can be selected based on supervisor hierarchy or project mgr (in the case projects are selected). The supervisor in the new organisation is a talent lead and he/she is picked as approver. The business requests to select the Product Owner (who is the horizontal lead and more aware of the content, and is in a flexfield in the HCM solution). We see no means in adjusting the approval workflow for timesheets in this way as standard this is picked from supervisor hierarchy or project mgr.
