How to update a projected start date for a terminated pending worker

We have only been able to update the projected start date in the classic UI and need to figure out how to do it in the Responsive UI.

The issue is that if we have a pending worker with a future-dated projected start date and they are terminated so they can be offered on a new REQ, the system errors and states that there is an overlapping work relationship. The only solution is to update the projected start date.

Please advise.
