Rehire processed in HCM changed business email to personal email

When our admin team processed a rehire from the pending worker queue, the rehire's personal email address was showing in the business email field. The business email field is not editable, and only is filled in with the colleague's work email once hired into the system. Has anyone experienced this occurring on rehire profiles when hired into HCM?
