Is there a way to update the connection details in Enterprise Data Management via EPM Automate ?

Summary:

We are looking into automating the process of refreshing the Enterprise Data Management non-prod environment from prod using a snapshot. When the refresh happens, it wipes out the old connections in non-prod and replaces it with prod connection. Currently, we restore the old connections (non-prod) manually by entering the connection details in UI ? Can we restore the old connection using a script or via EPM Automate so we can automate it ?
