Oracle Unity Release Notes for January 2024 (24.01)

Oracle Unity Enhancements:

Unity platform infrastructure. This release includes optimizations across various layers of Unity's platform infrastructure as part of our long-term plan to incorporate additional OCI components. In particular, this release focuses on optimizing performance and fortifying stability to ensure a more robust and efficient data processing environment for Unity’s ID graph. The result will be accelerated data processing and retrieval times. 

Global exclusions (Controlled Availability). Users with the Instance admin role can now select a segment to automatically insert as an exclusion in all other segments with the same base object. This exclusion segment might include contacts who have opted out of marketing, or who have already received too many emails this month. Once this functionality is enabled, the exclusion will be applied to all segments when they are are created or modified. If the exclusion is inappropriate for a particular segment, the instance admin can disable it. Customers interested in implementing this feature should submit a request through My Oracle Support.
