An error displayed saying URL not formed correctly in oracle fusion, while the URL is working fine.

In Oracle fusion under receivables -> Billings and Payables -> Invoices. We added an hyperlink using page composer. after entering our specific URL in it fusion displays the above error while the URL is working fine on Internet.
