Name problem when searching in person management

When searching by last name in person management, an employee will only come up if you search using her maiden name in the Name search field (let's use Jones), and the results will appear correctly with her new last name (let's use Smith). If you search for her new last name (Smith), only her husband comes up. Her name looks correct on her person page. And if you search based on her person number, she'll appear correctly with her new last name (Smith). It seems like a glitch since this is the only employee we've noticed this for. And the
