Need opinion on external applicant tracking system to Oracle fusion HCM integration

Hi Team,

We have recently implemented integration from external ATS system to Oracle fusion HCM. The integration is based on HDL. The HDL uploading all the objects including allocation of checklists. However, its not triggering notification for journey or password reset email and sometimes, its not working for rehire scenario properly. We need to enhance to include more fields on it. We were suggested to go for RestAPI in OIC integration. Will it be helpful in the long run? Is it worth to migrate now to RESTapi currently? Any inputs are highly appreciated.
