Assignment secondment reason & projected end date
Hi,
Within HCM (R13 23D) for us to effectively place an employee on Secondment this is managed via our HR users completing two transactions as follows:
- Add Assignment > Temporary Assignment (adds the Secondment Assignment to the EE record & flags this as PRIMARY)
- Change Assignment > Suspend Assignment > Secondment (suspends the record, check the Primary Flag & add a Projected End Date)
Is anyone aware of functionality if adding an Assignment for reason of Secondment, the Substantive record can be suspended & the Projected End Date added within the Substantive Record automatically?
This would removing the need to further suspend & check the Substantive Assignment details during the process.
