How to overwrite contract end date on order lines?

Hello Colleagues,

We are implementing OM on 23D. We have noticed inconsistencies in how contract end dates are calculated. We have defined periodicity of "Month".

When we enter a period of 1 Month, with Contract Start Date of 30-08-2023 00:00 in front end, the system calculates the Contract End Date as 29-09-2023 00:59. The system appears to use 27 days as a Month. However the length of months can vary.

So is it possible to manually insert/overwrite the Contract End Date? Can we have the flexibility to insert our own Contract End Dates?
