Will Oracle mandated upgrade to Hybrid Essbase kernel retain Change History

Summary:

The 24.02 release notes says the in the upcoming months any application not on a Hybrid supported version will be upgraded. Further threads say that we can perform ourselves using the Recreate (and Upgrade) function. Our testing has shown that using this method deletes the application and forces you to reload from a backup. When we do this, we lose the Change History that is very important to our end users. Does anyone know if the Oracle initiated upgrade will preserve our Change History?
