Merging Employee profiles along with data

edited Feb 9, 2024 12:54PM in Workforce Management 1 comment

Summary:

We are currently seeking a solution to transfer timecard data or any other data from one record to another for the same employee without resorting to data deletion and recreation.

The scenario involves an employee who possesses two accounts within our system, necessitating the removal of one to avoid duplicate entries.

Our standard procedure dictates the removal of the most recent account, while maintaining the older one as active.

For clarity, here is an example: Employee A is associated with two accounts in our system, resulting in the presence of two distinct person numbers. To streamline our records, we intend to eliminate one account. Consequently, we need to migrate all existing timecard data associated with this person number to the older account.

Howdy, Stranger!
