Italicize (or Format) part of a text in the Grid Cell

Summary:

We have a report where we need to apply italics to part of a text within a cell in the grid. Is it possible to apply the formatting as shown below (from Excel cell).

I have tried the notes in the "Inline Grid Entry of Notes", though you can define the notes as below but when printed to cell it retains the cell formatting.

The only place it retains the italics or formatting on part of a text is within the Note Boxes in the Report Canvas.
