Desperate need to copy a specific subset of data from non-prod to prod

Summary:

I deleted some Workforce data in production by mistake. I had recently cloned production to non-production so the data still exists three. Restoring the entire system back to before the erroneous deletion is not an option. Similarly cloning pre-prod back to prod is not an option.

Export Data / Import Data appears the only possible hope but it's unclear if this will work for my situation. I have no abilities for technical stuff e.g. groovy scripts.
