Workaround for Employee Department not being a Project Expenditure Organization
Summary:
Receiving an error in OTL when an employee is charging time to a project. The employee is a team member on the project, the project is active, and the project organization is defined on the project. The employee is assigned to the same BU as the project. Receiving an error that the department linked to the assignment isn't classified as a project expenditure organization. We would like the integration between OTL and Projects to not rely on the employee's defined department.
- Is there a way to connect an employee to a project by BU rather than department?
- Is there a way to remove the validation that checks the employees department against project organizations?
