Freeform text areas? Support for tables?

Hi,

We're trying to setup sections in a contract that people can add free-form, formatted text (i.e. using the rich text editor).

We're also trying to have sections where people can fill out free-form tables.

Context is only the contracts module. No catalogs, item, or purchasing information is available. The data does not exist anywhere. Requirement is to record tables of items with prices or discounts, etc. with free-form entry; i.e.:

Any guidance or best practices for either of these cases? Specifically, for buy-side contracts.
