Where does the data come from in workers Descriptive Flex Fields

Our workers API is returning incorrect data. Need to find out where the data lives in the Database to help troubleshoot the issue

In the workersDFF object, one of the flexfields is returning incorrect data. I don't know where in the database this data is coming from though. How are these flexfields set up? Does the workersDFF object point to a specific table in the database? Or is that selected when the flexfield is initially set up? I've never set one of these up before so have no idea what the process is like. Is there a way to see where it gets it's data?
