How to add External Hyperlink URL with in WMS as a Task /icon to launch

Summary:

We have created a custom APEX application support the Picking process in WMS which we would to like to add that application URL with in WMS. Is there a way to add that hyperlink? In ERP we can create a sandbox and add hyperlinks to the UI or as an Icon to the Home page using a structure. How do we do this in WMS?
