Restrict supplier to Supplier Portal

We are using a VISION (demo) database.

When suppliers register through the Redwood self-registration portal, it seems that when they login they are presented with the "regular" home page first, and have access only to the Supplier Portal tile.

However, when we login with a VISION pre-populated user such as KAL.PERRY, when we login we go directly to the Supplier Portal. The Home icon still appears and clicking this takes us back to the springboard, but it's nice that the supplier goes directly to the Supplier Portal:

Is there something that controls this?
