Making NID section mandatory for US Employees in Family and Emergency contacts

Hi Experts!

We just had this requirement to make the NID section mandatory when an US Employee adds dependents thru Family and Emergency Contacts section. I have tried to make this mandatory via HCM Design studio but I couldn't see no provision to make the section mandatory from that end. Does anybody familiar on how to achieve this particular requirement? Please share your thoughts.
