Smartview - Lock Member Selections

Apologies if there is an obvious answer to this question.

We noticed that the Smartview member selections seem to reset when the report is re-opened. The user needs to re-select the members each time. Is there a way to lock the members on the report?

I suggested using the Excel protected cells option, but this prevents the refresh of the values when a member is changed.
