Change in termination date impacting absence

Summary:

Cannot complete absence record correction after a change in termination date.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Dear Community,

I need your advice again. We had several situations lately where the leavers' effective date of termination changed.

In the example I am going to use now, the initial termination date was 01/26/2024. This created the plans enrollments end dating on this specific date. The termination date was later changed from 01/26/2024 to 01/29/2024. This resulted in double plans enrollments: the initial ones were kept end dated and the employee got enrolled again into the absence plans between 01/27/2024 - 01/29/2024.

Changing the termination effective date is not a new situation, we are dealing with it every now and then. Fixing the absence records was straightforward and there have never been issues with this, until recently, when I noticed the same behavior for different situations/ countries.

Howdy, Stranger!
