Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have business scenario to not to Terminated employees picked up in Payroll processing. We recommended business to use FINAL CLOSE as best practice.

But customer is more comfortable to be set Assignment Status as 'Terminated', which set Pay Status as 'Do Not Process'.

The question is, when we set pay status as 'Do Not Process', isn't the payroll still will not pick up for payroll processing? Should we ask business to update Final Close?

What is the behavior of payroll processing for employees with Final Close date and set Pay Status as 'Do Not Process'?
