Query on Payment Authorization and Settlement in Oracle SaaS Cloud

Summary:

For one of our clients who is migrating from SAP to Oracle SaaS Cloud, a question has been put forward. In their current SAP system, they integrate credit card re-authorization and settlement requests to an external system that is purpose built for payment transactions. This independent system manages payment requests from all channels. From SAP, they send a re-authorization request to this payment system, which in turn then re-authorizes the request with the payment gateway provider. Similarly, from AR they send a settlement request from SAP and get the settlement confirmation back into SAP.

 

As they are going to replace SAP with Oracle, they are considering keeping this independent payment system in place as it is across the board. Can Oracle OM and AR Clouds support similar functionality, i.e. send payment authorization and settlement requests externally and accept settlement confirmation back from another system into Oracle SaaS?
