Initial ingest to OSCS process status

To enable Redwood learning pages, we are following all the instructions in redwood documentation and also completed running process - ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS, but redwood page is not showing learning data.

How do we know if index is defined successfully and data is ingested to OSCS successfully ?

ESS process that we submit goes to Successfully completed status within seconds - so my assumption is it triggers backend process in database.

How do we know it really completed ? Is there a way to find the status of indexes creation and data ingestion ?
