Closed captions - videos - OLC
For accessibility purposes, we have been asked to enable closed captions (CC) on the podcasts / videos we use in OLC. Transcripts are already available for them.
We have unsuccessfully tried a number of ways to try to embed CC into the MP4 so that they are visible in OLC when played by the learner:
1) Record into Camtasia, save as MP4, upload into OLC content - but there is no way to reference CC when adding the content, nor to switch on CC in the video player.
2) Record into MS Teams, transfer into Camtasia for editing, and then as 1) above.
3) Record into Camtasia, upload into MS Stream, add CC there, save as MP4, upload into OLC content - but the CC are not visible when the video is played.
