Employee with two different records

edited Feb 28, 2024 11:18AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

We have an employee with a person number 17055 who was terminated in 2015. Later, a rehire process for the same employee was initiated in 2023 through ORC. However, while transferring the candidacy from ORC to Core HR, we encountered an error and the transfer was unsuccessful. Despite this, my client proceeded to hire the employee directly from Core HR, creating a new record with number 67622.

This issue was identified a few months later, after several time cards and payroll processes had been completed for the employee. Now, my client would like to update the employee's original record (17055) by cancelling the work relationship associated with the new record (67622). We attempted this action in a lower pod but encountered difficulties due to the already processed payrolls and time-cards, preventing us from moving forward.

Howdy, Stranger!
