How to clean global variable (object type)?

Summary:

Is there any quick way to clean/reset a global variable (object type, could be complex) in OIC integration?

In "How To Reset Global Variable (Doc ID 2928099.1)", it says "At the beginning of each outer loop iteration, you can do a stitch operation to assign "" (or what ever object type they selected to be assigned null / empty values).".

I'm not getting it very well, does it mean I need to set empty value for each single field in the object?

Or any shortcut for it?
