Unable to submit project budget contains about 10k lines via REST API

We are submitting a project budget with around 10k lines and more via REST API, and Unfortunately it fails, also we tried to upload it using FBDI but it takes a very long time, from 3 to 6 hours. Are there any solutions to improve the performance of uploading projects?
